My condo fee includes cable, but just the basic channels 2-28, plus 60-65. I would love to add channels 29-60, or perhaps the classic tv package which includes deja view but Rogers website is hard to navigate and I can’t figure out how much we would have to pay for them to add it to our pre-existing basic package. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks!

We are currently using an HD computer monitor as our Xbox screen. We’d love to continue to use it as our TV but we’re not sure if there’s any way to play cable TV through it or hook the cable up to the monitor instead of going through the Xbox. Any suggestions?
We only have laptops so setting something permanent up with a computer isn’t really ideal

Hello everyone. I’m moving to Pasadena, CA (91101) from the Midwest toward the end of this month. In the Midwest, we have Charter for Internet and though the actual speed is great, the customer service and reliability has been an issue.

We have Charter for regular cable TV as well, but we want to make the switch to HD service. How’s satellite service (Dish Network or Direct TV) in the area?

I have an Explorer 4200 cable TV box with RCA jacks, RF coax and an S-video port, and a Gateway 900W LCD computer monitor with both DVI and VGA ports. Is there any way of connecting the cable box to the monitor with simple cables, or will it require an expensive converter of some kind?

I just got a new home theatre system and have been trying to connect my tv and xbox, I have cox digital cable and i run my sound for the cable through the cable box, and now don’t know how to make the xbox run through the home theatre system also. They took away our satellite dish here in the Binhai New Area, Tianjin, China. The government people said that people are not allowed to have satellite dishes – only the government can have them. Is it this way all over China? What is China so afraid of cable TV? They’ve managed to censor some sites in the Internet and now they also want to forbid cable TV? What’s the use of opening up to the world and throwing a huge Olympic bash?

the box has HDMI output and componet outputs. there are no outputs on the tv just inputs, its a new laptop with windows 7 on it. what do i have to do to watch tv (cable HD) on my laptop?
